Q. What is your interest or connection with the Outer Hebrides?
A. The images seen above is an essence of my first experience visiting the Outer Hebrides. It was a grounding experience where I was inspired and directed by the environment found there.
The Mist of Lewis
This is an image that captures the veil of mist beginning to open to the hills in Lewis, unveiling the unknown hillside to the eye. I kept the fully exposed hillside secret as a gift of unknown to the viewer.
Hidden within the Standing Stones
Hidden within the distance on the Calanais Standing Stones is a lone figure. This reflects the emoitions i was feeling whilest taking this image; tranquil, peaceful and at one with the stones and their history.
This image captures the uninterrupted panoramic view of the ocean meeting the land of Luskentyre. Creating an essence of freedom.

The Water Of Harris
I was inspired by the raging waves, winds and the atmosphere they created. To balance this I have paired it with the illusion of a folk song to bring the viewer back to the simplicity of nature and love.
